Area 3
All areas have their own qualifiers and the best from each of the area qualifiers qualify for the national finals at the IPC Festival in August.
Each pony club in our area must organise and host the area qualifiers in turn. The mounted games qualifier is organised by a different pony club from the show jumping, combined training and dressage qualifier and thus also on a different date and in a different venue.
In our area 3 the Show Jumping, Dressage, and Combined Training qualifiers are held together. Some of the other areas might have separate qualifiers, one for Show Jumping and one for Dressage and Combined Training.
The Robbie Bailey (Junior, U14) and John Ledingham (Intermediate) show jumping team competitions are held at the area qualifiers. The first three teams from each of the area qualifiers go on to the national finals.
There are also team and individual Dressage competitions. For the first time ever our club sent a Dressage team to our area qualifier in 2008.
