Congratulations to Colum McCarthy, Roisin Smiddy, Tabitha Alexander, Aisling O'Brien, Claire McAuliffe, Nicola McCarthy, Danielle Murphy, and Avril Riordan who passed their C+ test on Saturday, 13th September - well done all!
Congratulations to Kirsty Connell who placed 2nd in the registered BD7 class at the Dressage Ireland South Munster Dressage Championships in Carrigaline on Sunday, 31st August, and to Tabitha Alexander who placed 2nd in the unregistered BD7 class on the same day. Well done girls!

Congratulations to all our tetrathletes who all fought hard on 23rd/24th August. The weather held up well and everyone had a great day.
Congratulations to those members who represented us at the ODE in Glandoran particularly to Gavin Smiddy who came 5th in the Junior C competition. Well done Gavin!
Congratulations to everybody who did so well at the Carlow ODE in Bunclody especially to Gavin Smiddy who came 2nd in the Junior F competition. Well done Gavin!
Congratulations to everybody who did so well at the Tipperary ODE in Grove and particularly to those of our members who got placed: Meabh Hennessy won the Novice Intermediate competition, Kirsty Connell won the U12 A competition, Sarah Connell came joint 2nd in the U12B competition and Aisling O'Brien came 6th in the Junior D competition. Well done girls!
Congratulations to James Noonan who won the leading horse award in the 90cm horses' Ballyrafter Summer League on Powerwalker. Well done James!Congratulations to our Robbie Bailey and Dressage teams who did very well at the Area 3 Qualifier in Killough on Tuesday, 15th July! Despite losing one member to injury the night before one of our teams qualified for the jump off. The other team also did very well. Our first ever Dressage team came 4th despite having the two youngest members in the competition and the fact that we were the only team of 3 and thus - as in the Robbie Bailey competition - did not have the possibility of dropping the worst result.
Congratulations to Meabh Hennessy who won the Novice Intermediate competition at the Horse Trials in Ballindenisk! Well done also to Aisling McCarthy who came 6th in the same competition. Congratulations also to Colum McCarthy who came 5th in his Junior competition and to Gavin Smiddy who came 4th in his U12 competition there and Anthony McAuliffe who came 6th in the same competititon. Gavin also came 3rd in the second U12 competition on his other pony. Kirsty Connell came 6th in this competition. Claire McAuliffe was 6th in the Newcomers. Well done all!
Congratulations to Eimear O'Brien who won her U12 competition at the Askeaton Horse Trials and to Sarah Connell who came 4th and Gavin Smiddy who came 5th in the same competition! Well done also to Claire McAuliffe who came 5th in her Junior competition on the same day.
Congratulations to all our Minimus competitors who participated in the largest Minimus ever (393 entries) - you all did extremely well! Our girls' team of Jill O'Gorman, Kirsty Connell, Eimear O'Brien and Laura Connors even came 4th only 4 points behind the 3rd - out of 54 girls' teams! Our second girls' team of Emily Gillespie, Mia O'Flynn, Robyn Butler, and Jennifer Hennessy came a very good 21st and even our third girls' team of Sarah Connell, Aine Mulcahy, and Sinead Flynn came a great 29th despite being short one member. Kirsty, Eimear and Mia O'Flynn had full scores in the riding and Jill O'Gorman came individual 6th in the girls' running with Laura coming 20th, Eimear coming 23rd, Kirsty coming 24th, and Jennifer coming 47th out of 241 girls. Jill also came an excellent 16th in the swimming with Laura coming 21st in the swimming. Out of the 25 boys teams with 133 boys competing Our boys team of Gavin Smiddy, Shay O'Gorman, Colm Griffin, and Jack O'Donohue came a very good 14th. Our second boys team of Anthony McAuliffe, Nicholas Connors, and Colm O'Donohue came a great 20th despite also being short one member. Gavin had a full score in the XC and the running performance of the boys' teams was also very good . Nicholas Connors came 41st in the swimming as well as the running (and he's only 9).
Congratulations to Kirsty Connell who won the Trailblazer or pony competition at Glenville dressage competitions on Sunday, 15th June with a whopping 78% score. She also came 2nd in Novice against experienced adults!!!
Congratulations to James Noonan who came 5th in the jump off of the 80cm horses' spring league in Ballyrafter. He also won the leading sport horse award. Well done James!

Congratulations to everyone who did so well at the Breeda Hunter Trials: U12: Emily Gillespie 1st, Shay O'Gorman 3rd, Jack O'Donohue came 2nd in Pony Pairs, and Claire McAuliffe was joined 2nd in Open Horses. Well done all!

Congratulations to all our members who competed so well at the Aghabullogue Hunter Trials: Gavin Smiddy came 1st in the Open Ponies class, Colm Griffin came 2nd in the U12s and Jill and Shay O’Gorman came 2nd in the U12 pairs. Well done everyone!
Congratulations to Danielle Murphy for winning the Open Working Hunter class at the recent Irish Show Pony Awards and for also winning Best Working Hunter in Munster. Well done Danielle!
